203 Kg Ganja Seized in Major Excise Raid in Malkangiri Forest

ମାଲକାନଗିରିରେ ଅବକାରୀ ବିଭାଗର ବଡ଼ ଚଢ଼ାଉ । ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ଭିତରୁ ଜବତ ହୋଇଛି ୨୦୩ କେଜି ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ । ଝାଟିଗୁଡ଼ା ଗାଁର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ଅବକାରୀ ଟିମ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ହୋଇଥିଲା ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଚଢ଼ାଉ । ଚଢ଼ାଉ ବେଳେ ଏକ ବୁଦା ନିକଟରୁ ୮ଟି ଜରି ବ୍ୟାଗ ମିଳିଥିଲା । ଯାଞ୍ଚ ପରେ ବ୍ୟାଗ ଭିତରୁ ବାହାରିଥିଲା ବିପୁଳ ପରିମାଣର ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ।

The Excise Department conducted a special raid in the forest on the western side of Jhatiguda village in Malkangiri and seized 203 kg of ganja. During the raid, the Excise team found eight bags near a bush. On checking the bags, a large quantity of ganja was recovered. The seizure was made during the special operation in the forest, though the source does not mention any arrests or the identity of those behind the stock.
