Around 8 Lakh Cusecs Water Expected at Mundali by Evening: Water Resources Department

ହୀରାକୁଦର ୩୦ ଗେଟ୍ ଦେଇ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ପରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡଳି ଦେଇ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ। ମହାନଦୀକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଆଉ କୌଣସି ନଦୀରେ ବନ୍ୟା ସ୍ଥିତି ନାହିଁ’। ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ମୁଣ୍ଡଳିରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୮ ଲକ୍ଷ କ୍ୟୁସେକ୍ ଜଳ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଜଳସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦିଲୀପ ରାଉତ। ପ୍ରେସମିଟ କରି ଏହି ସୂଚନା ଦେଲେ ଜଳସମ୍ପଦ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀପ ରାଉତ।

Floodwater released through 30 gates of Hirakud is flowing through Mundali. Water Resources Department Engineer-in-Chief Dilip Raut said around 8 lakh cusecs of water is expected to flow through Mundali by evening. He also said that, apart from the Mahanadi, there is currently no flood situation in any other river in the state. Raut shared the information during a press meet.
