Description: Political tensions are rising in Aska over a heated exchange between the son of the Aska MLA and a woman sarpanch during a Panchayat Samiti meeting. The row escalated after the sarpanch filed a complaint at the police station, following which the Ganjam Sarpanch Association met the Ganjam SP in Chhatrapur and demanded an impartial investigation and action against those responsible. Ganjam BJD has also levelled allegations against the MLA’s son, while the woman sarpanch and BJD leaders have alleged that obscene photos created using AI are being circulated on social media. Aska MLA Saroj Padhi has denied all the allegations and claimed that BJD and BJD-backed women sarpanches are conspiring to defame him and his sons.
