The Crime Branch is investigating the Balianta Soumya death case. DGP Binayatosh Mishra said there is no pressure on the Crime Branch investigation and that Soumya’s father had met him and shared all his allegations. The DGP said there is sufficient evidence regarding the incident and a lie detector test is not required at this stage, though such a test will be conducted wherever necessary.
