Ganjam Cyber Police have detected an alleged online betting fraud racket and arrested three persons in connection with a complaint of fraud involving around ₹20 lakh. One of the arrested persons is reportedly from Chhattisgarh and another from Jharkhand. Police said the accused were allegedly operating betting activities through a WhatsApp group and an online betting app, while further investigation is underway to trace the network. Police have seized PAN cards, Aadhaar cards, bank accounts and other documents belonging to various individuals.
