There is a major update on the flood situation in Bhadrak district. After reviewing the situation, the Bhadrak District Collector said the district will remain on alert until the end of the monsoon season. Authorities are closely monitoring the rainfall situation in the upper catchment areas of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar. Priority is being given to repairing all vulnerable breaches and breach points. The Baitarani River is expected to gradually recede, but the Salandi River may create problems. The administration continues to monitor the situation and take necessary measures.
