Cyclone Arnab Stalls During Landfall Process; South Odisha Braces for Heavy Rain, 70 Kmph Winds

ଆନ୍ଧ୍ରପ୍ରଦେଶ ଉପକୂଳରେ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡଫଲ୍ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଜାରି ରହିଛି । ଆସନ୍ତା ଦୁଇ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡଫଲ୍ ପ୍ରକିୟା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ । ସ୍ଥଳଭାଗ ଛୁଇଁ ଅଟକି ରହିଛି ଅତି ଭୀଷଣ ବାତ୍ୟା ‘ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣବ’ । ଏହା ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଆଜି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ୬୦ରୁ ୭୦ କିମି ବେଗରେ ପବନ ବହିବ ଓ ଅତି ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶିକା ମନୋରମା ମହାନ୍ତି।

The landfall process of extremely severe Cyclone Arnab is underway along the Andhra Pradesh coast, with the next phase expected to begin within the next two hours. The cyclone has touched land but remains stationary. Regional Meteorological Centre Director Manorama Mohanty said South Odisha is likely to experience strong winds of 60–70 kmph and very heavy rainfall today due to the cyclone's impact.
