Cyclone Update: Depression Intensifying Over Bay of Bengal, Odisha Sees Heavy Rain

ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା। ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷାରେ ଗଛ ପଡ଼ି ରାସ୍ତା ଅବରୋଧ। ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ଧୀରେଧୀରେ ଘନୀଭୂତ ହେଉଛି ଅବପାତ। ଏହାକୁ ନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶିକା ମନୋରମା ମହାନ୍ତି।

Continuous rain is lashing several parts of Odisha, with fallen trees blocking roads in some areas. Meanwhile, the depression over the Bay of Bengal is gradually intensifying. Regional Meteorological Centre Director Manorama Mohanty has provided an update on the weather system. According to the India Meteorological Department, the depression is expected to intensify into a deep depression and move towards the South Odisha–North Andhra Pradesh coast, with heavy to extremely heavy rainfall forecast in parts of Odisha.
