ଏଥର ଦୁର୍ଗାପୂଜାରେ ଆମିଷ ଖାଇବା ମନା, ବିକ୍ରି ବି ମନା । ଯଦି ଆମିଷ ଖାଇବେ , ତାହେଲେ ଦୁର୍ଗା ମଣ୍ଡପକୁ ଆସି ପାରିବେନି । କେବଳ ସାତ୍ତ୍ୱିକ ଶାକାହାରୀ ଭୋଜନ କରିବେ । ମାଆଙ୍କ ପୂଜା ସମୟରେ ଏହି ନିୟମ ମାନିବା ବାଧ୍ୟତାମୂଳକ। ଖାଲି ସେତିକି ନୁହେଁ, ପୂଜାରେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇପାରିବେନି ଅଣ ହିନ୍ଦୁ । କିଛି ଏପରି ନିୟମ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ ଦୁର୍ଗାପୂଜା ପାଇଁ ଲାଗୁ କରାଯାଇଛି । ବିଶ୍ୱ ହିନ୍ଦୁ ପରିଷଦ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଲାଗୁ କରାଯାଇଛି ଏହି ନିୟମ । ମାଆଙ୍କ ପୂଜା ସମୟରେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା, ତଥା ରୀତିନୀତିରେ ପୂଜା ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେବ ।
A fresh debate has emerged in West Bengal ahead of Durga Puja over proposed guidelines concerning food, religious practices and the participation of non-Hindus at puja pandals.The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has proposed that non-vegetarian food should not be sold near Durga Puja pandals and has urged organisers to maintain cleanliness and follow traditional rituals.
