A major revelation has emerged about Flydubai co-pilot Hamam Alhammami, who allegedly attacked Indian pilot Captain Smit Machhar with a knife during a Dubai-Tel Aviv flight.
According to the report, Alhammami, an Omani national who had reportedly spent significant time in Syria, was previously barred from flying in Oman over alleged security concerns and possession of extremist material. He had reportedly worked as a trainee co-pilot with Oman Air in 2024 before later joining Flydubai.
