ଗଭୀର ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ନିଖୋଜ ହୋଇଛି ପାରାଦୀପରୁ ଲୁହାପଥର ନେଇ ଯାଇଥିବା ଏକ ବିଦେଶୀ ଜାହାଜ। ପାରାଦୀପ ବନ୍ଦରଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୨୨୦ ନଟିକାଲ ମାଇଲ୍ ଦୂରରେ ଜାହାଜଟି ନିଖୋଜ ହୋଇଥିବା ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି। ପୋର୍ଟ ବ୍ଲେୟାର ସୀମା ନିକଟରେ ଏହା ନିଖୋଜ ହୋଇଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ଜାହାଜରେ ମୋଟ ୨୪ ଜଣ କ୍ରୁ ମେମ୍ବର ଥିବା ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୨୦ ଜଣ ଚୀନ ନାଗରିକ, ୨ ଜଣ ମିଆଁମାର ନାଗରିକ ଏବଂ ଜଣେ ବାଂଲାଦେଶୀ ନାଗରିକ ଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ତେବେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣେ କ୍ରୁ ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ନାଗରିକତା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିନାହିଁ। ଜାହାଜଟି କେଉଁ ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ ନିଖୋଜ ହେଲା ଏବଂ ଏଥିରେ ଥିବା କ୍ରୁ ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥିତି କଣ, ସେନେଇ ଚିନ୍ତା ବଢ଼ିଛି। ତେବେ ଏନେଇ ବନ୍ଦର କିମ୍ବା କୋଷ୍ଟଗାର୍ଡ ପକ୍ଷରୁ କୌଣସି ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିପାରିନି।

A foreign vessel carrying iron ore from Paradip has reportedly gone missing in the deep sea, around 220 nautical miles from Paradip Port and near the Port Blair maritime region. According to the information available, the vessel had 24 crew members onboard, including 20 Chinese nationals, two Myanmar nationals and one Bangladeshi national. The nationality of one other crew member has not been clearly established. Concern has grown over the circumstances in which the vessel went missing and the current status of those onboard. No clear information has so far been received from the port authorities or the Coast Guard regarding the incident.
