Former Odisha Minister Dambaru Majhi Passes Away at 86

ଆଉ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି ପୂର୍ବତନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଡମ୍ବରୁ ମାଝୀ। ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଳୟରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଧିନ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଆଜି ତାଙ୍କ ପରଲୋକ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ବାର୍ଦ୍ଦକ୍ୟଜନିତ ସମସ୍ୟା ଯୋଗୁ ସେ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଧିନ ଥିଲେ। ଆଜି ଭୋର ପ୍ରାୟ ୫ଟାରେ ୮୬ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଦେହାନ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିବା ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି। ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ଧରି ଅର୍ଥାତ ୧୯୬୭ରୁ ୧୯୯୦ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଭାଗରେ ତତ୍କାଳୀନ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଥିଲେ ଡମ୍ବରୁ ମାଝୀ।

Former minister Dambaru Majhi passed away at around 5 AM today at the Nabarangpur District Headquarters Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment for age-related health issues. He was 86 years old. Dambaru Majhi had served as a minister in the then Odisha government in different departments for a long period, from 1967 to 1990. His demise marks the end of a long political career in state government service.
