Heavy Rain in Odisha on Sept 23-24, Winds Up to 65 Kmph From Sept 22

୨୩, ୨୪ରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି IMD ଡିଜି ମୃତ୍ୟୁଞ୍ଜୟ ମହାପାତ୍ର। ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷିବ। ଏନେଇ ଓଟିଭିକୁ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି IMD ଡିଜି । ପୁରୀରୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣକୁ ଥିବା ଜିଲ୍ଲାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସବୁଠାରୁ ବେଶୀ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହେବ। ୨୨ ତାରିଖ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରୁ ୫୫ରୁ ୬୫ କିମି ବେଗରେ ପବନ ବହିବ।

IMD Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra has said that Odisha is likely to receive heavy rainfall on September 23 and 24 under the influence of a deep depression over the Bay of Bengal. South Odisha is expected to be among the worst-affected areas, with districts south of Puri likely to receive significant rainfall. Squally winds of 55 to 65 kmph are also expected along and off the South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coast from September 23, while winds are forecast to strengthen from the evening of September 22.
