Continuous rainfall has inundated several areas on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, with Daruthenga emerging as one of the worst-affected locations. More than 15 people were stranded in floodwaters near Alasua after residential areas were submerged. Upon receiving information, the Chandrasekharpur Fire Services reached the spot and launched a rescue operation to evacuate those trapped. The incident highlights the impact of incessant rain and waterlogging in low-lying areas around the city.
