Heavy Rain Threat Ahead, Minister Warns; 24 Odisha Districts Hit by Floods

ରାଜ୍ୟର ୨୪ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବନ୍ୟା ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରଭାବିତ। ଆଗକୁ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଆଶଙ୍କା ରହିଛି। ୨୦୦ ମିଲିମିଟରରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷା ହେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଥିବାରୁ ସବୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ ରହିବା ସହ ବିସ୍ତୃତ କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି ରିପୋର୍ଟ ପଠାଇବାକୁ କୁହାଯାଇଛି। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ଲୋକସେବା ଭବନରେ ବନ୍ୟା କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି ନେଇ ରାଜସ୍ବ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ପୂଜାରୀ ସମୀକ୍ଷା ପରେ ଏହି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।
Twenty-four districts in Odisha have been affected by floods, while the state faces the possibility of more heavy rainfall ahead. With some areas likely to receive more than 200 mm of rain, all district Collectors have been asked to remain alert and submit detailed reports on the damage caused by the floods. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari issued the warning after reviewing the flood-related damage at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. Authorities have been directed to closely monitor the situation in view of the forecast of further heavy rain.
