Heavy Rain Triggers Rise in River Water Levels Across Mayurbhanj

ମୟୂରଭଂଜ ବାମନଘାଟି ଉପଖଣ୍ଡ ବିଶୋଇ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ବର୍ଷା ରେକର୍ଡ। ଲଘୁଚାପ ଜନିତ ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ମୟୁରଭଞ୍ଜ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବାମନ ଘାଟି ଉପଖଣ୍ଡ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ନଦୀ ଗୁଡିକର ଜଳସ୍ତର ବଢିଛି। ଅନେକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଚାଷ ଜମି ଗୁଡିକ ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡି ଯାଇଛି।

Heavy rainfall caused by a low-pressure system has led to a rise in river water levels across the Bamanghati subdivision of Mayurbhanj district. The Bisoi area recorded the highest rainfall in the Rairangpur region. According to weather information, 125 mm of rain was recorded in Bahalda, 140 mm in Bijatala, 163 mm in Rairangpur and 197 mm in Bisoi. Due to the incessant rain, river water levels have increased and several agricultural fields have been submerged in different areas.
