Hirakud Water Level Slowly Falls as Two More Gates Closed, 26 Gates Now Releasing Floodwater

ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ କମୁଛି ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳସ୍ତର। ବନ୍ଦ ହେଲା ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାରର ଆଉ ଦୁଇ ଗେଟ୍। ଏବେ ୨୬ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଦେଇ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ହେଉଛି। ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟକ୍ରମେ ହୀରାକୁଦର ଗେଟ୍ ବନ୍ଦ ପରେ ମହନଦୀରେ କମୁଛି ଜଳପ୍ରବାହ। ତେବେ ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ଜଳପ୍ରବାହ ଯୋଗୁଁ ମହାନଦୀରେ ବନ୍ୟା ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି।
The water level at Hirakud Reservoir is gradually declining, with two more gates being closed. Floodwater is now being released through 26 gates, while the inflow stands at 4,82,547 cusecs per second and the average outflow is around 4.65 lakh cusecs.
