ଭାରତୀୟ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ସେବାରେ ନୂଆ ଇତିହାସ । ପ୍ରଥମ ମହିଳା ନନ୍-ମେଡିକାଲ୍ ଏୟାର ଭାଇସ୍ ମାର୍ଶାଲ୍ ହେଲେ ଶକ୍ତି ଶର୍ମା । ସେ ଭାରତୀୟ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ସେବାର ପ୍ରଥମ ମହିଳା ନନ୍-ମେଡିକାଲ୍ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଭାବେ ଏୟାର ଭାଇସ୍ ମାର୍ଶଲ୍ ପଦବୀରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛନ୍ତି। ଶକ୍ତି ଶର୍ମା ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀ ଏୟାର ହେଡକ୍ୱାର୍ଟର୍ସରେ ଆସିଷ୍ଟାଣ୍ଟ୍ ଚିଫ୍ ଅଫ୍ ଦି ଏୟାର୍ ଷ୍ଟାଫ୍ ଭାବେ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

The Indian defence services have witnessed a historic milestone as Air Vice Marshal Shakti Sharma became the first woman officer from the non-medical stream to attain the rank of Air Vice Marshal or equivalent. She assumed charge as Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Education) at Air Headquarters on September 1. Her elevation marks a significant milestone in the journey of women officers in India’s defence forces.
