ଘରୋଇ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲର ମେଡିକାଲ୍ ବିଲ୍ ରେ ଚଢ଼ା ଦରକୁ ନେଇ ଆସିଲା ବଡ଼ ଖୁଲାସା। ମାତ୍ର ୧୧ ଟଙ୍କାର ଜିନିଷ ବିକ୍ରି ହେଉଛି ୩୨୫ ଟଙ୍କାରେ। ୪୦ ଟଙ୍କାର ନେବୁଲାଇଜର ମାସ୍କର ଦାମ ରହିଛି ୭୧୫ ଟଙ୍କା। ଏଭଳି ମେଡିକାଲ୍ ଉପକରଣର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଓ MRP ଭିତରେ ବଡ଼ ଫରକ୍ ନେଇ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉଠାଇଛନ୍ତି ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର FDA କମିଶନର ତୁକାରାମ ମୁଢ଼େ। ଔଷଧ ଭଳି ମେଡିକାଲ୍ ଡିଭାଇସ୍ ର ଦାମ ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ନିୟମ ଆଣିବାକୁ NPPAକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ତୁକାରାମ ।

A major concern has emerged over high markups on medical consumables in private hospitals. A survey highlighted an IV infusion set with a trade price of ₹11.05 but an MRP of ₹325, while a nebulizer mask costing around ₹40 was listed at ₹715. Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has raised questions over the wide gap between the cost and MRP of medical devices and proposed clearer pricing regulations to the NPPA.
