ଭାରତ – ଚୀନ। ଦୁଇ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ, କେବେ ଭାଇ-ଭାଇର ନାରା ଲାଗୁଥିଲା... ମନେ ଅଛି ତ- ହିନ୍ଦୀ-ଚୀନୀ ଭାଇ-ଭାଇ... କିନ୍ତୁ କେଇ ଦଶନ୍ଧି ଦଶନ୍ଧି ଧରି ଦୁଇ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ସୀମା ବିବାଦ ସବୁଠୁ ବଡ଼ ଆଉ ତୀବ୍ର ମୁଦ୍ଦା... ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଦୁଇ ଦେଶ ଅନେକଥର ମୁହାଁମୁହିଁ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ୧୯୬୨ ମସିହାରେ ବଡ଼ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ମଧ୍ୟ ଲଢ଼ିଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ବିବାଦର ସମାଧାନ ହୋଇନାହିଁ। ଗତ ୧୦ ବର୍ଷ ଭିତରେ ଦୁଇ ଦୁଇଥର ଉଭୟ ଦେଶର ସେନା ମୁହାଁମୁହିଁ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ୨୦୧୭ରେ ଡୋକଲାମ୍ ଓ ୨୦୨୦ରେ ଗଲୱାନ ଘାଟିରେ ହୋଇଥିବା ସଂଘର୍ଷ ମନରୁ ଲିଭିନାହିଁ।
The India-China border dispute has once again come into focus, with Arunachal Pradesh at the centre of the long-running territorial disagreement between the two neighbouring countries. India and China, once associated with the slogan “Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai”, have faced repeated tensions over their disputed border. The two countries fought a major war in 1962, but the border issue remains unresolved. In the last decade, Indian and Chinese troops have also faced serious confrontations, including the Doklam standoff in 2017 and the Galwan Valley clash in 2020. The latest developments have once again brought the sensitive India-China border issue into the spotlight.
