Jharigaon is reeling under heavy rain after intermittent showers continued through the night, followed by intense spells of rain in the morning. The Bhaminiya and Chikili rivers are overflowing, with water reportedly flowing around five feet above bridge level. The flooding has severely disrupted road communication in the area.
