Jharkhand Student Protest to Continue After Talks With Government Fail

ଆଲୋଚନା ଫେଲ୍, ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡରେ ଜାରି ରହିବ ଛାତ୍ର ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ । CGL ପରୀକ୍ଷା ବାତିଲ କରିପାରିବେନି କହିଲେ ସରକାର । ଏଥିସହିତ ସିବିଆଇ ତଦନ୍ତ ପାଇଁ ରାଜି ହେଲେନି । ୫ ଘଣ୍ଟା ଧରି ଚାଲିଥିବା ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନରେ ୧୪ତମ JPSC ପରୀକ୍ଷା ବାତିଲ ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ରାଜି ହୋଇଥିଲେ । ମାତ୍ର କୋର୍ଟ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ CGL ପରୀକ୍ଷା ବାତିଲ କରିପାରିବେନି ବୋଲି କହିଥିଲେ । ସରକାରଙ୍କ କହିବା ଅନୁସାରେ, ଛାତ୍ର ନେତାଙ୍କ ୯୮% ଦାବି ପୂରଣ ହୋଇଛି । ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ JPSCର ୩ ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ।

Talks between the Jharkhand government and student leaders have failed, with the student agitation set to continue. The government said it cannot cancel the CGL examination and also refused to agree to a CBI probe. During the five-hour-long discussions, the government agreed to cancel the 14th JPSC examination but maintained that the court-approved CGL examination cannot be cancelled. The government claimed that 98% of the demands raised by student leaders have been fulfilled. Meanwhile, the Governor has accepted the resignations of three JPSC members. With the key demand over the CGL examination still unresolved, the student movement is expected to continue.
