Lightning Strike in Angul: One Farmer Dead, Three Critically Injured

ବଜ୍ରାଘାତରେ ଜଣେ ମୃତ, ୩ ଗୁରୁତର। ଅନୁଗୁଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପାଲଲହଡା ଥାନା ନାଥପଶି ଗାଁରେ ବଜ୍ରାଘାତ ରେ ଜଣେ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଛି। ମୃତକ ହେଲେ ମଟାଏ ମାରିଜ। ବିଲରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୨ ଜଣ ପୁରୁଷ ମହିଳା କାମ କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ହଠାତ୍ ବଜ୍ରାଘାତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଜଣେ ଚାଷୀ ଙ୍କ ମୃତୁ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ବିଲରେ କାମ କରୁଥିବା ୨ ଜଣ ଓ ବିଲ ପାଖରେ ଛତା ଧରି ଛିଡ଼ା ହୋଇଥିବା ଜଣେ ନାବାଳିକା ଗୁରୁତର ହୋଇଥିବା ଜଣା ପଡ଼ିଛି। ଗୁରୁତର ମାନଙ୍କୁ 108 ଆମ୍ବୁଲାନ୍ସ ରେ ମେଡିକାଲ କୁ ଅଣାଯିବା ପରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଜାରି ରହିଛି।

A farmer was killed and three others were critically injured after lightning struck at Nathapasi village under Pallahara Police Station in Angul district. The deceased has been identified as Matae Marij. Around 12 men and women were working in a field when lightning suddenly struck. Two people working in the field and a minor girl who was standing nearby holding an umbrella were seriously injured. The injured were taken to hospital in a 108 ambulance and are currently undergoing treatment.
