State Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena visited Khandara Chhak to review the flood situation in Hinjilicut block. However, local residents confronted him over alleged administrative lapses in rescue operations and relief distribution. They also raised concerns over the disruption of mobile network and internet services for nearly 24 hours during the flood crisis. Residents questioned the government over the timeline for repairing damaged stretches of the Hinjilicut–Asika National Highway. The minister faced tough questions from the public during his visit.
