New Charichhak Station to Be Added to Khurda-Balangir Railway Line

ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା-ବଲାଙ୍ଗୀର ରେଳପଥରେ ଯୋଡ଼ି ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି ଆଉ ଏକ ନୂଆ ଷ୍ଟେସନ୍। ପୁରୁଣାକଟକ, ବୀରନରସିଂହପୁର, ବୌଦ୍ଧ, ଝାରମୁଣ୍ଡା, ପୁରୁଣାପାଣି, ସୋନପୁର ଓ ବଲାଙ୍ଗୀର ଦେଇ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସହ ରେଳ ସଂଯୋଗ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ, ଏବେ ଏହି ରେଳପଥରେ ଯୋଡ଼ି ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି ଚାରିଛକ ଷ୍ଟେସନ୍। ପାହାଡ଼ର ବୁକୁ ଚିରି ତିଆରି ହୋଇଥିବା ଟନେଲ୍ ଏବଂ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଭାୟାଡକ୍ଟ ଦେଇ ଗଡ଼ିବ ଟ୍ରେନ୍। ପୁରୁଣାକଟକରୁ ଚାରିଛକ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୩ କିଲୋମିଟର ନୂଆ ରେଳପଥରେ ଟ୍ରେନ୍ ଚଳାଚଳ ପାଇଁ କାମ ଦ୍ରୁତଗତିରେ ଆଗେଇଛି। ପାହାଡ଼ର ବୁକୁ ଚିରି ନିର୍ମାଣ ହୋଇଛି ଟନେଲ୍ ନମ୍ବର-୭। ଏହି ଟନେଲ୍ ଦେଇ ଗଡ଼ିବ ଟ୍ରେନ୍।

Another station is set to be added to the Khurda-Balangir railway line, with Charichhak becoming part of the rail network. Work on the nearly 13-km stretch from Purunakatak to Charichhak is progressing rapidly, including tunnels and high viaducts. Train services will pass through Tunnel No. 7, built through the hills.
