Odisha Flood Relief: CM Majhi Announces ₹1,000-Crore 10-Point Package

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced a ₹1,000-crore, 10-point package for flood-affected people after reviewing the flood damage. Small and marginal farmers with 33% or more crop loss will receive assistance under the package.

Farmers will receive ₹8,500 per hectare for rainfed land, ₹17,000 for irrigated land and ₹22,500 per hectare for 12-month crops. Financial assistance will also be provided for purchasing paddy and non-paddy seeds, while free vegetable mini-kits will be given to affected farmers.
