Opposition Protests Standing on Chairs as Revenue Minister Objects in Assembly

ଉତ୍ତର ରଖୁଥିଲେ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ। ରିପୋର୍ଟର ଚେୟାର ଉପରେ ଛିଡା ହୋଇ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କରୁଥିଲେ ବିରୋଧୀ। ଯାହାକୁ ନେଇ ରାଗିଗଲେ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ | କହିଲେ ବିଧାନସଭାରେ କୌଣସି ସଦସ୍ୟ ବକ୍ତବ୍ୟ ଦେଲା ବେଳେ ଚେୟାରକୁ ଦେଖି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବା ନିୟମ। କିନ୍ତୁ ବିରୋଧୀ ଦଳ ସଦସ୍ୟ ଯେଉଁଭଳି ଚେୟାର ଉପରେ ଛିଡା ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ଉପବାଚସ୍ପତଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ହେଉନି।

During the Odisha Legislative Assembly proceedings, the Revenue Minister was responding to members when opposition members were seen standing on chairs as part of their protest. The Revenue Minister objected to the conduct and said that when a member speaks in the Assembly, the rule is to address the Chair while giving a response. He further said that with opposition members standing on the chairs, it was difficult to look towards the Deputy Speaker while responding.
