Over 60 Schools Waterlogged in Kendrapara’s Aali Area, Classes Hit for 7 Days

କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡା ଆଳି ଧୋୟା ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ୬୦ରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବ ସ୍କୁଲ ପାଣି ଘେରରେ। ଖରସ୍ରୋତା ଓ କାଣୀ ନଦୀରେ ଜଳସ୍ତର ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ କମୁଥିବା ବେଳେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଆଳି ଧୋୟା ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏବେବି ଅନେକ ଗାଁ ପାଣି ଘେରରେ ରହିଛି। ୧୦ଟି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତରେ ୬୦ରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବ ସ୍କୁଲ ଭିତରେ ପାଣି ପଶିଛି। ଫଳରେ ୭ ଦିନ ହେବ ସ୍କୁଲ ଗୁଡିକ ବନ୍ଦ ରହିଛି। ପିଲାଙ୍କ ପାଠ ପଢ଼ା ଠପ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି।

More than 60 schools across 10 panchayats in the Aali Dhoia area of Kendrapara district remain surrounded by floodwater. Although water levels in the Kharasrota and Kani rivers are gradually receding, several villages in the area are still affected by flooding.

The schools have reportedly remained closed for seven days, bringing students’ studies to a halt. The prolonged waterlogging has affected regular education in the flood-hit area.
