Pahur Yatra: Unique Tradition Observed a Day Before Nuakhai in Western Odisha

#ନୂଆଁଖାଇ_ପୂର୍ବରୁ_ପାହୁର_ଯାତ୍ରା
ରାତି ପାହିଲେ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଗଣପର୍ବ ନୂଆଁଖାଇ। ନୂଆଁଖାଇର ଦିନକ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ରହିଛି ଏକ ନିଆରା ପରମ୍ପରା, ପାହୁର ଯାତ୍ରା। ବର୍ଣ୍ଣାଢ୍ୟ ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରାରେ ଦେବଦେବୀଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ନୂଆଁଖାଇ ପାଇଁ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଜିନିଷପତ୍ର ନେଇ ଯିବାର ପରମ୍ପରାକୁ କୁହାଯାଏ ପାହୁର। ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ରୀତିନୀତି ଓ ଉତ୍ସାହର ସହ ପାହୁର ଯାତ୍ରା ପାଇଁ ଚାଲିଛି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି।

With Nuakhai just a day away, preparations are in full swing across Western Odisha. Ahead of the agrarian festival, a unique traditional ritual known as Pahur Yatra is observed. As part of the tradition, people take the essential items required for Nuakhai to the temples of various deities through colourful processions. The ritual reflects the rich cultural traditions and customs associated with the festival.
