Five rescued orangutans in Odisha are gradually expected to develop a bond with the three caretakers responsible for their care. According to Aditya Acharya, Head of the Wildlife Treatment Centre at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), the five orangutans will slowly recognise their caretakers and develop a mother-like attachment to them.

Aditya Acharya said the three caretakers will provide the young orangutans with care similar to that of a mother. The focus is now on ensuring proper care and support for the rescued animals.
