The mystery surrounding the five orangutans continues to deepen even after 36 hours. Questions remain over who brought the rare animals, why they were brought and where they came from. Investigators are also probing whether the alleged smuggling took place by land or water, and whether an international smuggling network was operating through West Bengal. Amid these questions, the Special Task Force (STF) has intensified its investigation by travelling to Digha in West Bengal.
