A woman in Kanpur has alleged that gold jewellery and other valuables worth around ₹50 lakh went missing from her bank locker. She claims she had kept the valuables in a locker at the erstwhile State Bank of Travancore branch in Swaroop Nagar in 2003 and opened it again after 23 years, only to find it empty. She has approached the police over the alleged disappearance.
