Dr Satya¬ban Bishoyi Ratna from Labarsingh village in Mohana block of Gajapati district has been promoted from Scientist-E to Scientist-F in the India Meteorological Department (IMD). His journey from a humble family and a modest tin-roofed house to a senior scientific position has brought pride to his family, village and the entire district.
