Nature’s fury has struck Nepal again as a landslide in Gorkha district blocked the Budhi Gandaki River, creating a temporary natural dam that later burst and unleashed a powerful surge of muddy water. Reports say around 50 houses, two suspension bridges and a motorable iron bridge were swept away, while a hydropower project construction site was also damaged.
