North Odisha is once again in the grip of floods, with the source reporting 6 districts and 52 blocks affected. As many as 33 villages are surrounded by floodwater, while around 45,000 people have reportedly been evacuated and more than 38,000 are staying in relief shelters. Relentless rainfall and swollen rivers have disrupted normal life across Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
