A total solar eclipse is set to occur on August 12, 2026, but there is an important point for people in India: the eclipse will not be visible from the country. NASA says the total eclipse will cross Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, Spain and a small part of Portugal, while a partial eclipse will be visible across wider parts of Europe, Africa and North America.
