Tehsildar Caught by Vigilance With ₹5 Lakh in Sundargarh

ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଜାଲରେ ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ଼ ଲାଠିକଟା ତହସିଲଦାର। ୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ନେଇ କାରରେ ଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ତହସିଲଦାର-କମ୍ -ସବ୍ ରେଜିଷ୍ଟ୍ରାର ମୁରଲୀଧର ଉର୍ମଳଙ୍କୁ ମାଡ଼ି ବସିଲା ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଟିମ୍। ଲାଠିକଟା ଅଫିସ୍ ରୁ ରାଉରକେଲା ଆସିବା ବାଟରେ ସେ ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ହାତରେ ଧରାପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି। ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଟିମ୍ କାର୍ ସହ ୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଜବତ କରିଛି। ପରେ ଆୟ ବହିର୍ଭୂତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଠୁଳ ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ୩ଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରେଡ୍ ଚାଲିଛି।

Sundargarh’s Lathikata Tehsildar-cum-Sub-Registrar Muralidhar Urmal was allegedly caught by the Vigilance team while travelling by car with ₹5 lakh in cash. He was intercepted on the way from the Lathikata office to Rourkela, and the Vigilance team seized the cash along with the car. Subsequently, raids were conducted at three locations over allegations of possession of disproportionate assets. The action has brought the Lathikata Tehsildar-cum-Sub-Registrar under the Vigilance scanner.
