Two Young Farmers Die After Coming in Contact With Underground Electric Wire in Jagatsinghpur

ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ବେନୁଖଣ୍ଡା ଗାଁରେ ଦୁଃଖଦ ଖବର । ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶରେ ଆସି ୨ ଯୁବ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଛି । ମୃତକମାନେ ହେଲେ ବେନୁଖଣ୍ଡା ଗାଁର ସାଗର ଭୋଇ ଓ ଅଜୟ ସାହୁ । ଉଭୟ ଚାଷୀ ଟ୍ରାକ୍ଟରରେ ବିଲରୁ ଚାଷ କରି ଫେରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ମାଟି ତଳେ ଯାଇଥିବା ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ତାର ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶରେ ଆସି ଗୁରୁତର ହୋଇଥିଲେ । ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଉଭୟଙ୍କୁ ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଳୟକୁ ନେଇଥିଲେ । ସେଠାରେ ଡାକ୍ତର ଉଭୟଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଥିଲେ । ଘଟଣାକୁ ନେଇ ଗାଁରେ ଶୋକର ଛାୟା ଖେଳିଯାଇଛି । ମାଟି ତଳେ ବେଆଇନ ଭାବେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ତାର ନେଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ତୁରନ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ସହ ମୃତ ଦୁଇ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ପରିବାରକୁ ଉଚିତ କ୍ଷତିପୂରଣ ଦେବାକୁ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି ।

Two young farmers, Sagar Bhoi and Ajay Sahu of Benukhand village in Jagatsinghpur district, died after coming in contact with an underground electric wire while returning from agricultural work on a tractor. The two were seriously injured and were immediately rushed by local residents to Jagatsinghpur District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The incident has cast a pall of grief over the village. Villagers have demanded immediate action against the person who allegedly laid the electric wire underground illegally and sought appropriate compensation for the families of the two deceased farmers.
