The situation at Utkal University in Bhubaneswar returned to normal after a brief spell of tension ahead of the ‘Why I Stand For’ meeting. A clash involving chair-throwing was reported before the meeting began. The situation calmed down following appeals by the Commissioner of Police and DCP. Candidates have now started presenting their views and making promises to secure votes in the upcoming student union elections.
