Vigilance officials have conducted a raid at the residence of Sambalpur Factories and Boilers Assistant Director Umakanta Samantaray over allegations of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The raid was launched at his residence in connection with the alleged accumulation of disproportionate assets. During the initial phase of the operation, it was learnt that the officer has multiple buildings at different locations. The raid is underway, with further details expected as the Vigilance operation progresses.
