Allegations of disrespecting Mahaprasad have sparked outrage in Puri. A hotel near Puri Railway Station has been accused of reheating leftover Mahaprasad, adding onion, garlic and other spices, and selling it to customers. The hotel has also allegedly been selling non-vegetarian food on the same premises. Locals have strongly objected to the alleged practice, calling it a serious disrespect to Mahaprasad.
