400 Vehicles Seized After Auto Drivers’ Stir; Permits May Be Cancelled

ମାଷ୍ଟରକ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟିନ ଛକରେ ଅଟୋ ଚାଳକଙ୍କ ହଙ୍ଗାମା ଘଟଣାରେ ୪ ଶହ ଗାଡ଼ି ଜବତ ହୋଇଛି। ଏନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଅତିରକ୍ତ ପରିବହନ କମିଶନର। ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପରମିଟ ରଦ୍ଦ ପାଇଁ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେଉଛୁ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି। ଫିଟନେସ୍ , ବୀମା, ଟିକସ ଭରି ନ ଥିଲେ ଚାଲାଣ କଟାଯିବ। ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଓ ୨୬ ତାରିଖ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଜବାବ ଦାଖଲ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ। ସନ୍ତୋଷଜନକ ଜବାବ ନ ରଖିଲେ ପରମିଟ ରଦ୍ଦ ହେବ। ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୨୦୨୩ରୁ ଏଗ୍ରିଗେଟର ପଲିସି ଲାଗୁ ହୋଇଛି।
Around 400 vehicles have been seized following the disturbance involving auto drivers at Master Canteen Square. The Additional Transport Commissioner said steps are being taken to cancel the permits of the vehicles involved. Challans will be issued if the vehicles are found without valid fitness, insurance or tax payments. Vehicle owners have been asked to submit their responses by August 24 and 26. If the explanations are not found satisfactory, the permits may be cancelled. The Aggregator Policy has been in force in Odisha since 2023, according to the source.
