7th Flood of the Year in Baitarani, Salandi; Water Flows Above Danger Level

ଲଘୁଚାପ ଜନିତ ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷ ବୈତରଣୀ ଓ ସାଳନ୍ଦୀ ନଦୀରେ ୭ମ ଥର ପାଇଁ ବନ୍ୟା ଆସିଛି। ଏହି ଦୁଇ ଗୋଟି ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର ବିପଦ ସଂକେତର ବହୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ଵରେ ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି । ସକାଳ ୭ ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆଖୁଆପଦାଠାରେ ବୈତରଣୀରେ ଵିପଦ ସକେତ ୧୮.୩୩ ମିଟର ଥିବା ବେଳେ ଵର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ୧୯.୩୦ ମିଟରରେ ପ୍ରଵାହିତ ହେଉଛି।

Low-pressure-induced incessant rain has triggered the seventh flood of the year in the Baitarani and Salandi rivers. Floodwater in both rivers is flowing well above the danger level. At Akhuapada, the Baitarani River was flowing at 19.30 metres as of 7 AM, against the danger level of 18.33 metres.
