AgriStack Not Mandatory for Paddy Sale, Odisha Government Clarifies Amid Farmer Protests

ଖରିଫ୍ ଧାନ ବିକ୍ରି ପାଇଁ ପଞ୍ଜୀକରଣରେ ଆଗ୍ରିଷ୍ଟାକ୍ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ନେଇ ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ତେଜୁଛି ଚାଷୀ ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ। ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବରଗଡ଼ ଓ ଟିଟିଲାଗଡ଼ରେ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇଛନ୍ତି ଚାଷୀ। ନିୟମ ବଦଳାଇ ସବୁ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଧାନ କିଣିବାକୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଦାବି। ଏପଟେ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ଆକ୍ରୋଶ ପରେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟୀକରଣ ରଖି ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଧାନ ବିକ୍ରି ପାଇଁ ଆଗ୍ରିଷ୍ଟାକ୍ ନମ୍ବର ବା କୃଷକ ରେଜିଷ୍ଟ୍ରି ସଂଖ୍ୟା ବାଧ୍ୟତାମୂଳକ ନୁହଁ।

Farmer protests are intensifying across Odisha over the AgriStack system used in registration for Kharif paddy procurement. Farmers in Bargarh and Titlagarh in western Odisha have taken to the streets, demanding changes to the rules and procurement of paddy from all farmers.
