Questions have been raised over the alleged violence involving online auto and cab drivers in the heart of the capital. Hundreds of autos and cabs allegedly entered a crowded area, where drivers reportedly clashed with people, damaged more than 15 AM buses, stopped and vandalised private cars, and allegedly pelted stones at a mall. The incident has raised questions over how the online auto and taxi association allegedly gathered the strength to take the law into its own hands, who may have been behind the violence, and whether there was any political motive. Questions have also been raised over how the police failed to anticipate such a major incident.
