‘ବନ୍ଦେ ମାତରମ’କୁ ନେଇ ସରଗରମ ହୋଇଛି ରାଜନୀତି। ଜାତୀୟ ଗୀତ 'ବନ୍ଦେ ମାତରମ୍'ର ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଗାୟନକୁ ନେଇ ଦେଶର ରାଜନୀତିରେ ଝଡ଼ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଗୃହମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଅମିତ ଶାହା କଂଗ୍ରେସ ଦଳକୁ କଡ଼ା ଭାଷାରେ ସମାଲୋଚନା କରି ଏହାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ‘ଦେଶବିରୋଧୀ’ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି। କଂଗ୍ରେସ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ କମିଟି ବାସିଡବ୍ଲୁସି ବୈଠକରେ କେବଳ ପ୍ରଥମ ଦୁଇଟି ପଦ ଗାନ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନିଆଯାଇଛି।

The Congress Working Committee (CWC) has decided that only the first two stanzas of ‘Vande Mataram’ will be sung at its meeting. The decision has sparked a fresh political controversy, with the ruling party and Congress taking opposing positions on the issue.
