ଉପର ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ବୈତରଣୀ ନଦୀରେ ଜଳ ସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି। ଗତକାଲି ଠାରୁ କ୍ରମାଗତ ଭାବରେ ଫୁଲୁଛି ବୈତରଣୀ। ନ ଆଖୁଆପଦା ଆନିକଟ ଠାରେ ରାତି ୧୨ଟାରେ ବିପଦ ସଂକେତ ଟପିଲା ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ।ବିପଦ ସଂକେତ ୧୮. ୩୩ ମିଟର ଥିବା ବେଳେ ସକାଳ ୫ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୧୯.୨୦ ମିଟର ଉପରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ।

Continuous rain in the upper catchment has caused the water level of the Baitarani River to rise, with the river swelling steadily since yesterday. At Akhuapada, the floodwater crossed the danger level of 18.33 metres around midnight and was flowing at 19.20 metres by 5 AM.
