ଓ୍ୱେଲମାର୍କଡ ଲୋ-ପ୍ରେସରରେ ପରିଣତ ହେଲା ବଙ୍ଗୋପ ସାଗରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର। ଏହା ପଶ୍ଚିମ-ଉତ୍ତରପଶ୍ଚିମ ଦିଗରେ ଗତି କରୁଛି। ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଅବପାତ ଓ ପରେ ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତରେ ପରିଣତ ହେବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି l ଏବେ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରୁ ବଳ ଗୋଟାଇ ଆଗକୁ ବଢୁଛି ଲଘୁଚାପ । ୨୩ ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ସକାଳ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଉତ୍ତର ଆନ୍ଧ୍ରପ୍ରଦେଶ ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଉପକୂଳ ନିକଟରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବା ନେଇ ପୂର୍ବାନୁମାନ କରିଛି ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ। ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ସାଇକ୍ଲୋନ୍ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ନେଇ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ମଡେଲ୍ ଆକଳନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
A well-marked low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is moving west-northwestwards. The system is likely to intensify into a depression today and a deep depression by tomorrow.
The system is expected to reach near the north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coast on September 23. Rainfall activity is likely to increase across Odisha from tomorrow, with alerts issued for northern, coastal and southern districts.
