After violence during the online auto-rickshaw drivers’ protest in Bhubaneswar, 115 drivers have been arrested and the RTO has cancelled the permits of 354 autos for 45 days. As drivers return from jail on bail, questions remain over their livelihood during the permit suspension. Interestingly, the auto of Online Auto Drivers’ Association president Dinabandhu Nayak is not on the list. Where is his auto? Several questions are emerging after the violence during the protest.
