Ahead of the country’s 80th Independence Day, Bhubaneswar has been decked up with colourful lights and tricolour decorations. Major landmarks and buildings across the capital, including the Accountant General’s Office, Lok Seva Bhawan, Odisha Legislative Assembly, Rabindra Mandap, Jayadev Bhawan, Commissionerate Police Headquarters and SBI buildings, are glowing with decorative lighting. Roads and streets across Bhubaneswar have also taken on a tricolour look, while government and private buildings have been illuminated for the Independence Day celebrations.
